'The [New Bloods] Platform has helped to widen my reach by giving me access to programmer and venues from the UK, Europe and further afield' IBT17 New Bloods artist

In Between Time nurtures talent and supports emerging careers for artists and other arts professionals in Bristol and beyond. We are committed to supporting early steps for remarkable individuals believing we will find the world’s future innovators and change-makers in all walks of life. We create opportunities for those who do not usually have access to them and challenge preconceptions about who can make and deliver art.

In Between Time’s Generate Programme offers regular commissions, artist residencies and performance opportunities under schemes such as ‘New Bloods’ and ‘Wild Card’.

2016’s ‘Producer Farm’, created in partnership with leading festivals and producers develops a new community of brave and inquisitive producers.

In collaboration with Bristol University, University of the West of England, Community partners and schemes such as Creative Access we offered paid traineeships to emerging arts professionals to ensure the widest possible range of people can develop the skills and experience needed to launch a career in the arts.

Since 2013, we have run an Emerging Writers programme and we are delighted to be working with Maddy Costa on our New Writers programme for IBT17 Bristol International Festival.
